'Craig was my brother in law and my friend. Craig was an inspiration to me in High school and beyond. Craig insisted there was no reason that I could not fly if I set that as my goal and not look back. He made me proud the day he put on his helemt strapped in the back seat and said let's go, I got six. Craig was a blessing to my sister who loved him so.

'Dad, there are too many things that I have to say about you and thank you for that there is not enough time left in my lifetime to fit it all in. But that is not gonna stop me from listing a few of them here today. 
Dad, thank you for being a loving, devoted and ever present father. 
Dad, thank you for being the best husband mom could have ever dreamed of. 
Dad, thank you for never missing an event, whether it was a wrestling match, or your granddaughters dance performance, you were always there. 
Dad, thank you for always singing and loving music. Heaven now has an additional choir member. Sing dad sing. 
Dad, thank you for proudly serving your country for 21 years. Thank you for coming back from both the Korean and Vietnam wars. I would like to take just a moment to recognize everyone who has served in the military or protected this country in some way, please allow me to honor you, thank you for your service. 
Dad, thank you for supporting mom in some of the most unique endeavors I have ever heard of. She was called by God in many ways and you never shut her down, you always were there and supportive. 
Dad, thank you for all the stories. The ones we had to beg you to tell and the ones we had to beg you to stop because the movie was starting, not that you cared. 
I could always count on you for the latest movie and book review. If I ever needed company to watch the Spurs or the Cowboys I knew who to call, as long as I had some coffee brewing. 
Dad, thank you for loving life and never losing your top gun spirit. I knew you still had it when you told me you had to trade in the corvette because the new one was just to cool to pass up. 
And Dad, thank you most of all for loving Jesus with all your heart enabling us to meet again one day and celebrate properly. I love you dad. I will miss you.'
