Cindy was born in Seattle, Washington on March 23, 1949. She and her family lived in the West and Midwest before coming to Lubbock, Texas in 1969. She graduated from Texas Tech and began her teaching career in 1971 in Crosbyton, Texas, outside of Lubbock.
She married the love of her life, Randy Hinds in 1978. While they lived in Lubbock, they were avid skiers and co-founders of the Texas Twisters Ski Club.
In 1984, they moved to San Antonio where they continued skiing with the Los Amigos Ski Club. Cindy taught at Randolph until she retired in 2004. She then taught at the Acorn until 2018.
Cindy never met a stranger. She was kindhearted, helpful, and a friend to all.
She is survived by Randy, her loving husband of 42 years; sisters, Kathy and husband Joe Hesse, Marsha and husband Chuck Morgantt; nephew, Dylan and wife Hilary Hesse; niece, Jody and husband Ron Cast and their daughters; and nephew, Aaron Monson.
Cindy had countless friends and will be sorely missed by all who’s lives she touched.
