Cynthia Shade, of San Antonio passed away on Thursday, May 6th, 2016. She was a graduate of Lee High School, class of 67 with honors where she medaled often as competitive swimmer. Cynthia attended St. Mary's University, received a Master of Arts from South West Texas University and a Doctorate of Education Administration in 1993 from Texas A & M University. Cynthia spent well over 30 years as a charismatic and inspirational educator. She was also active in the community, directing plays at St. Mark's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron and daughter, Alethea. She is survived by her son, Charles, mother, Teddie, and brothers Richard and Skip.
Memorial Mass will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at San Fernando Cathedral, 115 Main Plaza. A reception will follow the ceremony.
