Marquis D. Mark Briggs, passed away November 23, 2009 at the age of 71, surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born in New Braunfels, TX, and grew up in San Antonio, TX, where he graduated from Brackenridge HS as a proud Head Cheerleader.
Mark attended the University of Texas and served in the USMC, stationed in Japan. Mark loved to travel and worked as a professional hair stylist in San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA, for many years before moving to Dallas, TX, later retiring in San Antonio.
He is survived by his sister, Billie Jo Briggs Cobb of San Antonio, TX; brother, Clint Briggs of Boerne, TX; six nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to his loving caretakers, Katherine, Teddy and Augustine.
