Dakota Patrick Davis

Dakota Patrick Davis passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his parents, just before his second birthday, on the night of July 4, 2022. His journey to be with the Lord was the most beautiful backdrop of fireworks, as the sky lit up for his grand entrance into Heaven.

Since his diagnosis at 3 months of age, he battled an aggressive brain tumor. He endured many setbacks and challenges throughout the course of his treatment, but he always faced everything with courage and the best smile. In his short time here with us on Earth he had an impact on everyone he came in contact with, even those he never met.

He was born on July 8, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Billie and Hannah Davis. He is survived by his parents, big sister Elsie Davis, great-grandparents Ruben and Della Martinez, Richard and Joan Sarro, and Charlene Davis, grandparents Patrick and Barbara Covell, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a multitude of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents Irene Martinez and Kenneth Davis.

The Davis family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Methodist Childrens Hospital and Childrens Cancer and Blood Clinic, and a special thank you to his oncologist Dr. Jose M. Esquilin for all of his guidance and support.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Porter Loring Mortuary North with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.

In celebration of Dakotas life, a service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
