Dan G. Leach

He is survived by a brother Dale Leach & wife Grace of Oxford, NY along with nieces & nephews. His wife Cathy Leach, and children, Steven Leach & wife Terry, Christopher Leach & wife Aimee, stepchildren, Rebecca Weatherbee & husband Mark, Brian James & wife Nino. He was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Dan graduated from the Oxford Academy, in Oxford, NY, Class of 1966. His classmates still refer to him as "Danny".

It was Dan's honor to serve in the Air Force for 24 years, both as enlisted and as an officer and retired as a Major in 1993.

Dan attended the University of Maryland where he received his BA, Magna cum Laude in 1978. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Fraternity.

He attended Troy State University and received his Master of Science in International Relations in 1986.

He was one of the original members & Webmaster, of the Quality Bass Club of San Antonio, TX.

Dan enjoyed playing golf, bass fishing, traveling & cruising with Cathy and the Family whenever health would allow. He especially liked meeting up & visiting with friends old & new.

Services with military honors at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday, October 4, 2024, Shelter #2 at 1:15pm. In lieu of flowers please reach out to your favorite charity or St Jude's Childrens Hospital. The Family will be hosting a Celebration of Life at their home in Helotes, TX following services
