

Daniel Leonard Braly, age 58, passed away on November 3, 2020 in the state of San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 30, 1962 to parents Kathleen Frances Moran and Billy Gene Braly. After graduating from Southwest High School, Daniel went on to earn his Associates Degree. Daniel joined the Air Force in 1984, serving as an aerospace maintenance technician and moving up the ranks to Master Sergeant.
Daniel married the love of his life, Ann Foster Braly, on January 8, 2000. He was very dedicated to his family and his community, volunteering for Team Rubicon and taking wounded veterans out on kayaking trips. Daniel was passionate about anything to do with water and nature. He was an avid kayaker, boater, and bird watcher. He had an adventurous spirit and an incredible love of life and others. He was always willing to help anyone and could fix anything.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ann; son Steven Braly (Brandy); daughter Lori Priest (Stephen); stepdaughter Whitney Guvernator (Mark); stepson Aaron Boger (Stacey); grandchildren E.J. Guvernator (Rosalie), Ashley Cisneros (Abe), Chandler Guvernator (Aspen), Aubriana Elizondo (Dominic), Kaylan Guvernator, Steven Braly, Mekayla Braly, Madeleine Couls, Jeremiah Couls, Katherine Couls, Nathan Couls, Barrett Boger, Easton Boger, Noah Boger, Cash Priest, and Judge Priest; great-grandchildren Rex Guvernator, Whitton Guvernator, Penelope Guvernator, and Nayeli Elizondo. He is also survived by his mother, Kathleen Frances Moran; stepmother Margaret Braly; sister, Debbie Braly; nephew, A.J. Mora (Candace); niece, Angie Beck (Blake); and numerous other loving relatives.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Billy Gene Braly.

In lieu of flowers, the Braly family requests that donations be made to the Dan Braly Memorial Fund for Wounded Veterans. Daniel volunteered with this group on many occasions, taking wounded veterans out to kayak.
