Although a deadly virus took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all.
He was born to Clyde and Eunice Inglish on November, 30, 1954 in Port Arthur, TX. After graduating from high school, he became an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician where he met his wife, Carol Inglish, while on the job at her Church. Together, they had 3 children: Daniel, Chris, and Beth—they were his greatest joy in life.
Danny was known as the “nicest man you’ll ever meet,” a friend to all, and a loving father and husband to his family.
He found great pleasure in expressing himself through song and music. As a skilled piano and guitar player, he created original music for his friends, family, and Church—passing his creative gifts onto his children and grandchildren.
The simplest pleasures in life brought the most joy to Danny. He loved working in his garden, cooking in the kitchen, and spending hours outside in nature. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in the smallest things—a beautiful flower, bird, or a rain storm was the type of thing that caught his attention and would cause him to pause and appreciate every precious moment. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met.
He shared his love of gardening with his wife and he took pride in growing her favorite flowers. He spent his days with the love of his life, Carol, at their dream home they built together on the Frio River. They were married 43 years.
Danny is preceded in death by his sister Margaret Inglish Vaden. Danny is survived by his wife, Carol; two sons and a daughter, Daniel, Chris, and Beth Inglish; two daughters-in-law, Nancy and Amanda Inglish; grandchildren, Hunter, Aidan, Hannah, Ethan, and Layla Inglish; a brother, Cecil Inglish; a cousin, Martha Spencer; and nieces and nephews.
Danny will be honored at a memorial service for immediate family only at their home. In lieu of flowers, please get vaccinated and wear a mask to stop the spread of COVID-19. Think of Danny’s precious life and do the right thing.
