Darrell Mark Pittman

Darrell Mark Pittman, "PawPaw", 69, passed away on May 3, 2022 in San Antonio, TX. He was a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather. Born on September 28, 1952, to parents, Corine (ne Blackburn) & James Pittman. Mark graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1971. He began his locksmith career in 1974 and retired in 2012. He successfully owned a small business, City Lock & Key for over 12 years. He enjoyed hunting & fishing, often finding him in his second hometown of Rockport, TX. As an avid U.S. history buff, he always had an elaborate story to share. He was a #1 Spurs, Cowboys, & Astros fan, passionately cheering for his teams every season. Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Beth, father, James Pittman, and brother, Wade. Mark is survived by his mother Corine Pittman, daughters; Lynette Connell (James), Stacey DuGlas, Amanda ONeill (Joe), Brittany Pittman, and his grandchildren; D.J. Correia, Jozaier & Esther DuGlas, and Samantha Connell. His extended family include siblings; Gaye Shannon (Chris), Clay Pittman, Lisa Mines (Robert). The family will receive friends on, Sunday, May 15 - 2:00 P.M. at Franklin Park, 21902 Franklin Park, San Antonio, TX 78259.
