He was a proud Air Force veteran and a member of the Parr Pack River Rats in San Antonio (Red River Valley Association, Inc).
Daryl was fortunate enough to have many employment opportunities that moved him to several states. Having been to San Antonio many times, he chose to retire here 18 years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Maxine Johnson; and brothers, Lowell Johnson & Richard Johnson. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 51 years, Jan; sister, LuAnn (Gary) Rod; brother, Steve Johnson; and many nieces & nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
At a later date, military honors will be rendered before a service at Coker Methodist Church, followed by interment in the columbarium. There will be a reception after both services.
