David Martin Brymer, of San Antonio, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 1, 2021 after a brave and hard fought battle against Covid in ICU at Methodist Northeast Hospital, at the age of 69.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Marie (Autry) Brymer and his son Jacob Brymer.
He was born April 6, 1952 in Victoria, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Darlene, his son Andrew (Amber) Brymer and grandsons, Logan and Bronson; daughter-in-law Kelli (Ralston) Coates and grandson Ethan Brymer; his sister Patti (John) Dunks and nephews Jay (Megan)Dunks and Cody (Bekah) Dunks and niece Amy (Michael) Crites and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He will be greatly missed by Darlene’s daughter Nicole (Mason) Liebau and her grandsons Jackson and Owen and her entire family. He will be remembered for his happy demeanor, huge smile, great laugh and outbursts of whistle and song. David had a kind heart and was full of life, he had a unique personality and when he walked into a room the tone in the room instantly became lively. He was known as a health-conscious person and others came to him for advice for nutritional supplements for specific things they were going through. He was a committed Christian and a faithful member of Jubilee Outreach Church. He loved his Lord and would tell others about Jesus when he had the opportunity. He prayed fervently for others when they were going through a tough time and also took the time to call and pray with them over the phone.
David loved the coastal area and grew up in Bayside, Texas where Copano Bay was his backyard and where he was surrounded by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a nurse for over 40 years and served in many facilities taking care of elderly and the infirmed.
David was adopted by a loving family Henry and Marie Brymer when he was only two days old. He has since met his birth family- parents Donell (deceased) and Betty Parker and brothers Michael and Donald Parker.
