David Garcia Guzman, Sr.

David G. Guzman, Sr., age 76 of San Antonio, Texas was called home to be with the Lord January 30, 2022. He was born February 19, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas to Adrian and Josefa Guzman. He attended San Pedro Church of Christ where he served as a deacon. David will be remembered for being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

David leaves to mourn his wife of 51 years, Mary Jane Guzman; a son, David P. Guzman Jr. (Wife Isabel); daughters, Sandra Guzman-Garza (husband Andres), Cathyann P. Guzman (husband Jessie); grandsons, David Guzman III, Michael Anthony, Eduardo Guzman, Lance Garza, Landon Serafin; granddaughters, Barbie L. Guzman, Claire Garza, Carollann Serafin; and a number of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a brother, Daniel Guzman, and sisters, Esther Guzman and Rebecca Martinez. David Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Josefa, and brothers Santiago and Eliseo Guzman. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, February 12, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary West.
