David was born on September 11, 1963, in Springfield, Massachusetts, and was raised in Brooksville, Florida. After graduating from Hernando High School, he attended Orlando College, where he began laying the foundation for a varied and successful career.
Over the years, David worked in many roles, most recently as a realtor for the past seven years. He also made his mark in the corporate world, managing corporate accounts and developing private labels in both the food and pet industries. Known for his professionalism, David always strived to do his best in every endeavor, but it was his personal touch and generosity that left the most lasting impression on those around him.
David's heart was as big as his spirit. For 20 years, he volunteered his time as a life member of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, where he was deeply involved with the Calf Scramble and BBQ Cook-Off committees. Through his work, David touched many lives, always eager to lend a hand to his friends, family, and even strangers in need.
A man of many passions, David was also an avid collector of Hot Wheels and Funko Pops, taking great joy in sharing this hobby with those closest to him. His love for Marvel, particularly his favorite character, Deadpool, was something he enjoyed sharing with his loved ones as well. David was always quick to make a connection and leave an impression, whether through his collections or his infectious enthusiasm for life.
David is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Frost-Heal; his mother, Helen Wheat (Marty Mann); his brother, Paul Heal (Theresa); his niece, Sydney; his nephew, Cooper; stepdaughters, Olivia (Lazaro V) and Abigail; and his step-grandchildren, Lazaro VI, Sofia, and Jacob.
