

David Magallanez entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on February 17, 2025 at the tender age of 66. He was born on May 21, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas to parents, Romalda Romero and Isabel Magallanez. He is leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
David graduated from Memorial High School in 1976, paving the way for his pursuit of higher education. On March 21, 1987, David married the love of his life, Dolores Ramos. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories, sharing 37 beautiful years of marriage.
A devoted fan of DC Comics, he found inspiration in the heroic tales of Batman and Green Lantern, embracing their values of courage and loyalty. He shared his love of Pokémon with his family, creating countless moments of fun and adventure playing Pokémon Go! His passion for football shined as a loyal fan of the San Francisco 49ers—a love he proudly passed down to his daughter. He was a talented cook who delighted in sharing his culinary creations with his family, knowing that good food brought loved ones together. With a natural sense of humor and an easygoing personality, he brought laughter and joy to every gathering. Never meeting a stranger, his warm and social nature made him a friend to all.
Above all else, he valued his family, treasuring every moment spent together and holding those memories closer than any physical possession. His greatest joy came from the bonds he built and the love he shared with those dearest to him. Though proud and strong, he showed his gentle and caring side to his family, revealing the depths of his love and devotion.
David will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Romalda and Isabel Magallanez.
His memory will forever live in the hearts of his wife, Dolores Ramos; children, Isaac Magallanez (Irene) and Samantha Magallanez; grandchildren, Derek Magallanez, and Ryan Magallanez. Sisters, Debra Bedoy (George), Dora Marroquin (Al), Susana Magallanez (Claudia), and Grace Martinez (Mike); brother, Andrew Magallanez; and numerous extended family and friends who will forever cherish the joy, laughter, and love he brought into their lives.
