He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Eugene T. and Patricia O'Brien, and his brother, Mark.
David is survived by his son, Travis O'Brien; Travis' mother and close friend, Leslie Ehlinger; siblings, Jennifer Gibbons, Mike O'Brien, Tom O'Brien, Amy Kimbrough, John O'Brien, Colleen Estes, and Joey O'Brien; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We'd like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Robert Schnitzler, whose expertise and devotion once again provided us with the invaluable gift of time.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
