

David was born on November 4, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York.
As a young boy his family moved from New York to Miami Beach, Florida.
He lived there and attended Miami Beach High and graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean war.
After his honorable service, he moved to Birmingham, Alabama where he began a most successful career in sales.
In Birmingham he met his wife of 44 years Eva Weiss.
While in Alabama they had three children.
The family moved to Houston, Texas in 1964 and lived there for 10 years and ending up in San Antonio.
David was a Sales Representative for Levi-Strauss for 20 years. This gave him such joy.
He loved being in sales and being with people.
Consistently his entire career he was an outstanding achiever.
Recognition as Salesman of the Year in 1977 as well as member of the President's Club.
He was involved for many years in the Agudas Achim Men's Club, B'Nai Brith and a member of the American Legion.
Our beloved David gave a most valiant fight until the very end. He is now at peace.
He was a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather.
He will be greatly missed by all of his many friends, business associates around the country and family.
Survived by wife, Eva Olian; daughters, Suzanne Olian and husband, Jim Ihle of Houston, TX, Ilene and husband, Jim Franco of San Antonio, TX; son, Bruce Olian and wife, Vicki; grandchildren, Jimmy Ihle, Jeffrey Franco, and Nathan Olian; mother, Sylvia Solomon of San Antonio, TX; brother, Robert Olian and wife, Lynn.
