He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Catherine Russell.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Carmella Russell; a daughter, Shaleena Marie Russell; a brother, Mark Russell and wife Vielka; 2 sisters, Sarah Fish and husband Robbie, and Mary Hays and husband James; 2 godchildren, Travis Chrystie and James Leone; mother-in-law, Jean Ray; and numerous nieces, nephews, close cousins, and his church family at Hill Country Christian Church.
