David Lee Westberg

David Lee Westberg, age 65, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022, in San Antonio, TX. Born on October 30, 1956, in Elkhorn, WI, to parents, Mary Louise Morgenstern and Daniel Oliver Westberg. David served his country by joining the United States Army in 1980. Highly decorated retired combat veteran who proudly and honorably served a 20-year career in both the US Marines and the US Army Special Forces. After his retirement from the Army, he continued to serve and protect his community as a security guard.

He was preceded in death by, his wife, Glenna Westberg, and his father, Daniel O. Westberg. David is survived by his mother, Mary M. Westberg; his children, Courtney Westberg; and son, Nathan “Nate” Westberg; his grandchildren, Brandan, Logan, and Alysan; and his brother, Dennis Westberg; sister, Pam; and numerous other from his extended family.
