David E. Williams Jr.

David E. Williams, Jr., age 92, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 in San Marcos, Texas. He was born on November 18, 1924 in Georgetown, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Kathryn Williams and parents, David E. Williams, Sr. & Annie Laurie Williams.

David and Jean resided in San Antonio until 1989 when they moved to Wimberley, Texas. They were married for almost 68 years. He graduated from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio, Texas in 1942. He was in the Army Air Corps from 1944-1946 as a fighter pilot flying the P-47 in 42 missions as both a fighter escorts and dive bombing and strafing. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Engineering and worked as a Structural Engineer in San Antonio for 40 years.

Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter, Debbi Muldoon & husband Tom of Spring Branch, Texas; granddaughter, Sherii Straube and Lorie Fann both of Spring Branch, Texas; great-granddaughter, Brittany Wilson of San Antonio, Texas and great-grandsons, Justin Fann and Jordan Wilson of Spring Branch, Texas.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park.
