Debbie was a woman of remarkable achievements and deep compassion. She pursued her education diligently, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree. Her passion for education and dedication to the students of the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) led her to a fulfilling career as a Principal, where she touched countless lives with her wisdom and guidance.
Among her many passions, Debbie held a profound faith and found solace in helping others and in prayer. Often, you could find her at Church services, Bible Studies, or just spending quiet time with her Lord and Savior. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and she was always ready to offer support to anyone in need.
Outside of her professional life, Debbie was an active individual who embraced a healthy lifestyle. She enjoyed working out, aerobics, bike riding, and playing softball. Her enthusiasm for fitness was infectious, inspiring those around her to stay active and live well.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 25 and a half years, Mario R. Esparza; her cherished children, Jacqueline R. Silva, Katelyn Alexis Esparza, Benny Silva IV and her adored grandchild, Charisma Silva. She is also remembered fondly by her extended family and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Gim Sr., brothers, Gim Jr. and Ernest Lopez, and her sister, Elizabeth Lopez. While she leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
