Deborah Denise Marrs Gleinser went to be with our Lord on April 2, 2023 at the age of 69. She was born in San Antonio Texas on May 18, 1953. Her parents were Robert Bruce Marrs and Gladys Mae Gil, who precede Deborah in death.
Deborah was a devoted wife to her loving husband Paul Francis Gleinser for 43 cherished years. They met in their High School years and were each others world.
Deborah received her degree in Business from UTSA and worked until she retired at the age of 57.
Deborah and Paul loved to travel as much as possible. They enjoyed simple road trips, scuba diving and snorkeling at various places, especially Cozumel. They shared a love of bicycling and toured all over the Texas countryside. One of their favorite things to do were date nights at many, many new culinary spots. You could always get a review from them to explore great dining venues.
Deborah and Paul were always together, sharing good conversations and playful bantering.
They shared a strong Catholic faith and attended Mass regularly no matter where they were. Deborah was also a great person to ask about a new bakery if you wanted to bring something really tasty to a gathering.
Deborah continues to give in death, as in life. She has already provided life as an organ donor for three people. She will continue to save more as her final act of heroism.
Deborah is survived by her husband Paul, and her brothers: Michael C. and Lou McMahon, Michael D. McMahon, Scott McMahon, John and Lori McMahon, sisters: Jannette and Buster Sherry, Jill Shuemate, and Susan McMahon, six aunts and uncles and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Brother in laws, Stephen Gleinser, Mark and Barbara Gleinser, Charlie and Laura Gleinser, Roy and June Gleinser; Sister in laws Carolyn and Mike Meegan, Anne and Mark Armstrong, Susie and Edgar Blackledge, Judy and Garry Swartz (deceased), Nancy and Brian Kies ,one aunt, numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
