Her courage was an inspiration for everyone who met her while she went through her ordeal, and everyone who knew her expected nothing less.
She is proceeded in death by her father Ernest Gonzales, mother Barbara Frazier.
She is survived by her husband John, son Matthew and daughter Barbara, her aunt Skeeter, uncle Jimmy, cousins Barbara, Elaine, Melissa, Clint, Jim and Steven. Debbie amassed a huge amount of close friends from her school days and associations from various career positions throughout her life.
Debbie will be missed for her qualities that made who she was, funny, caring, compassionate, conscientious and she insisted she could not sing, but she could.
A rosary will be held at Porter Loring Mortuaries at 1101 McCullough in San Antonio, TX 78212 on Saturday March 18 at 12:30 PM with a service following at 1:00 PM.
