Debra J. Maldonado

Debra Joyce Maldonado passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the age of 68 in San Antonio, Texas. Born August 7, 1952, she is preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio Martinez and Genoveva Rodriguez Martinez; her sister, Mary; her brother, Daniel; and her two infant siblings.

Debra is survived by her beloved husband, Carlos C. Maldonado; her children, Debbie Ruiz (Robert), Marion Maldonado (Thomas), Genevieve Gonzales (Josh), Destiny Maldonado (Armando); her grandchildren, Caleb Maldonado and Vivianna Maldonado; her 4 sisters and 1 brother; and her numerous beloved pets, extended family and friends who loved her.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Trevino Funeral Home – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to 100 people in the building at a time.

The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, June 3rd from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Friday, June 4th, a Funeral Procession will depart at 1:15 PM and arrive at the San Fernando Cathedral – 115 Main Plaza 78205 – for a Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM. The Burial will follow at San Jose Burial Park – 8235 Mission Road 78214.
