Delia M. Benavidez

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonel Benavidez; her parents, Joe L Martinez and Mary Angeline Martinez; brother, Alfred and son-in-law, Arturo Vasquez.

Delia devoted her life to serving our Lord as an active member of Summit Christian Church and Meta Church.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters; Joe Jr., Rosendo, Domingo, Paula, Sarah, Louise, Josephine, Joanne, and Stella. Delia is also survived by her children, Yvonne Guzman (Greg), Leonel Benavidez, Jr. (Laurie), Bernadette Vasquez (Arturo-deceased), Monica B. Lopez, Marc Benavidez (Linda), Maria Benavidez Sykes (Kenny) and Joe Maximilliano Benavidez (Michelle), 30 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Delia will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A visitation and rosary to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas.
