She entered into rest with her loving Father on August 2, 2023, at 12:20 a.m. at the age of 93.
Her family moved to San Antonio while she was still a young child. It was in San Antonio where her father along with her brothers gave birth to “Natividad Pachecano and Sons Co.” This business would become the major source of support for the family.
As a young girl, she and her family begin attending Primera Iglesia Bautista Mexicana under Pastor Alfredo Cavazos. She accepted the Lord as her Savior and was baptized soon after.
She met and fell in love with Santiago García, Jr. Santiago was very involved in church with the youth program and music.
Delia received her training in Cosmetology. She earned her certificate/degree at the age of 15 and worked in the business for a few years. While attending Primera, she and Santiago fell deeper in love and were joined in marriage on July 17,1948. They were married from 1948 to 2020, 72 years total.
Santiago surrendered his life to the Ministry as God prepared Delia to become his wife.
The following are the churches where Santiago and Delia ministered for more than 50 years.

From 1963 – 1966 Santiago traveled full–time as an Evangelist holding revivals. Delia was both mom and dad while Santiago was away only to come home for a quick hug and a change of fresh suits. She ran a tight ship at home with a tender loving hand. She would call us each evening to come together in the living room to pray for dad as he traveled and preached. We would all attend church with mother. She kept us involved with both R.A.’s and G.A.’s and other church activities.
She is preceded in death by her siblings Luciano, Henrieta, Natividad, Ruben, Concepcion, Olivia, Homer, Myrna, and Lillia.
She is survived by her brother, Dr. Reverend Omar Pachecano (Aunt Toni), children Jimmy, III (Dolores), Daniel (Mary Frances), Elisabet, Noé (Cheryl), Febe Sauseda (Jose), Orpha, and Tim (Carol)
