She is preceded in death by her father Arturo Luna-Vasquez.
Desiree is survived by her husband of 5 years Matthew Winningham; children Robert Gaona, Rodger Gaona, Colton Winningham, Bryson Winningham, Jalen Luna, and Julianna Luna; mother Mary Navarro; grandmother Mary Navarro; siblings Christopher Navarro, Anthony Dominguez, Joe Angel Navarro, Kristina Vasquez, and Nicole Navarro. Desiree is also survived by other numerous family members and a host of friends.
