Mrs. Swanson graduated from Logan High School, Class of 1940, and also from the L.D.S. Business College majoring in shorthand. Later she studied and worked in medical transcripts. She worked for more than 25 years at McClellan Air Force Base, where she received multiple outstanding and superior awards for her work in the Engineering Department. She was loved by all and will be truly missed.
Mrs. Swanson was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Swanson, in 1978 and two brothers, Parley Drew Savage and Lamar Hurst Savage.
She is survived by a daughter, Gloria Kay Fuller; a son, Richard Charles Swanson; three sisters, Karma Leona Farr, Georgia Greenwood and Bonna Lee Duke; one brother, Paul Mathers Savage; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
