Diamantina C. Garcia

Diamantina (Diana) C. Garcia, age 87, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 in San Antonio. She was born February 17, 1925 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Jose and Carolina Castellano. Mrs. Garcia had a blessed life and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Garland, Texas for 30 years. She was preceded in death by, her parents; her husband Abel Garcia; great-grandchild, Sophie Grace; sisters, Carmen, Magdalena, Carolina, Guadalupe and Olivia. Diamantina is survived by her children, Diana Magill and her husband, James, Mabel Garcia, Abel Garcia and Theresa Ensign and her husband Paul; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2012, at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.
