Diana R Ybanez

Diana R. Ybañez, age 74, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born to Arturo and Irenea Ramirez on August 27, 1945 in Raymondville, Texas. She graduated from Edgewood High School in 1963 and entered the Human Resources field in 1973. In April 1996 she started working for The Salvation Army as the Executive Assistant until she retired in September of 2017. During her tenure with The Salvation Army, she served under 8 Officers. Each with their own personalities and management style. Her dedication and loyalty to the organization went beyond her call of duty. Diana was a great baker and baked many cakes for family and friends. She was a loving, caring person who put everyone before herself. She was also a member of the Altar Society with St. Philip's of Jesus. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Julio Ybañez, son, David (Wendy Hough) and daughter, Melissa (Jose Mireles), grandchildren Samantha J. Medellin, Marissa D. Medellin, Joel R. Ybanez, brother, Arturo (Dora Ramirez), and numerous family members. Diana will be missed by many TSA Officers, co-workers, Advisory Board Members, Auxiliary Women and numerous family and friends.
