Dianne Joan Poore

Dianne J. Poore, age 54, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on May 17, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. Born to her parents Bernice “Bunny” (Worthington) and Rodney Gladhart, on December 10, 1969, in Phoenix, Arizona, Dianne touched countless lives with her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith.

Dianne dedicated her life to serving others, both as a counselor and, recently, as a pastor. Her compassionate nature and deep sense of spirituality enabled her to make a profound impact through her ministry, offering guidance, support, and love to those in need. Her heartfelt counsel brought solace and inspiration to her community.

An avid gardener, Dianne had a magical way with plants, nurturing them with the same care and attention she gave to the people in her life. Her love of nature extended to animals as well. Dianne adored her own dogs and cats, as well as the local wildlife, including deer, squirrels, and birds.

Dianne loved to host get togethers and enjoyed playing games. She would often bake and cook delicious meals, so no one left hungry. She made her home a place that was welcoming to everyone and the peace she carried was felt by all who visited.

Dianne’s laughter was infectious, bringing joy and light to all who knew her. She was a wonderful wife to her husband and a devoted mother to her daughters. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Dianne is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 32 years, David W. Poore; daughters, Katie Greene (Poore) and Jillian Poore; siblings, Roger Gladhart, Brian Gladhart, Carolyn Long, Gregg Gladhart, and Steve Gladhart; and many nieces, nephews and close friends who will forever remember her generous spirit and the love she so freely shared.

As we mourn her passing, we celebrate Dianne’s remarkable life and the enduring legacy she leaves behind. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

The family will receive friends at Porter Loring Mortuary North on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
