Dianne Villarreal, age 73, born November 27, 1945, was called home to our Lord on July 5, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years: Librado P. Villarreal, Jr.; parents: Julian & Peggy Ruiz, Jr.; and brother: Julian Ruiz III. She is survived by her talented children: Lee Paul & Gina Villarreal, Michael R. & Rosi Villarreal, Patrick (P.J.) & Elaine Villarreal, Amanda V. & Mark Ramos, and Gene Vidales; 8 loving grandchildren: Brittany, Eric, J.J., Juleeane, Zachary, Zoe, Belen, and Michael; 3 great grandchildren: Iza, Lea, and Zoe; and brother: James & Chrissy Ruiz.
Besides being her sons' biggest fan, Los Desperadoz, Dianne had a great love for the outdoors. She loved the beach, dancing, fishing, hunting, taking pictures of the sunrises and sunsets. Most of all she loved our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Dianne took to Facebook to share Christ and His Word and loved posting her photos along with her inspirational words. She was a blessing to us all in so many ways.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. The Funeral Procession will depart at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Resurrection to be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1918 Palo Alto Road. Interment to follow at Gonzales Cemetery, 15894 Henze Rd, San Antonio, TX 78223. Family has requested to dress with comfortable shoes for the burial site.
