

After graduating from Mexia High School in 1920, she attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas graduating in 1923 with a bachelor's degree. During her university years, she was also a member of Tri Delta Sorority.
During her long life, Mrs. Sharp was active in the Community Chest, the Battle of Flowers Association, the San Antonio Conservation Society, numerous Red Cross drives and many other civic groups.
She was president of the Bexar County Medical Society Women's Auxiliary. Mrs. Sharp served as president of the Battle of Flowers Association during World War II and presided over the first parade after the war.
She was an active and devoted member of Christ Episcopal Church from 1932 until her death and served her church in many capacities. She was also a member of the San Antonio Country Club for 60 years.
Above all Mrs. Sharp was a loving and much loved, mother, grandmother, aunt, and great aunt.
Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Thomas Hilliard Sharp, and by her son, Thomas Hilliard Sharp, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Sharp DeLong; her granddaughters, Dinah DeLong Rogers, Shelley Sharp Bass, Johanna Ansley Sharp, Carrie Sharp Steele, all of San Antonio, Texas; and Nancy DeLong of Corpus Christi, Texas; five great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.
In her last years, Mrs. Sharp lived at Brighton Gardens. Her family is grateful to the wonderful nurses and C.N.A's for the loving care they provided Mrs. Sharp.
