Dolores Deleon

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dolores DeLeon. She was born September 16, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas and was called to the Lord June 18, 2022 at the age of 73. She enjoyed BBQ chicken, traveling and loved her grandchildren. She was a very spiritual person and was a member of Rios De Aqua Viva Church.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Aurora Baca; brothers, Thomas Baca, Albert Baca and Joe Martinez Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years Jose Luis DeLeon; sons, John DeLeon, Noel DeLeon (Stephanie) and Jose DeLeon Jr. (Emily); daughters, Alma Jara, Hannah Macia and Joann Lucio; siblings, Nora Carreon, Miguel Martinez, Oscar Martinez, Connie Solis, Norma Puga, Paul Garcia and Hilario Baca as well as 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dolores will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

A visitation for Dolores will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Oasis of Life Church, 5411 West Commerce Street, San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a prayer service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
