Dolores L. Dykes went to be with the Lord, peacefully as she slept, on March 7, 2014. She was born on New Year’s Day in 1937 to Carlota and Jose Martinez. She was preceded in death by her husband Parable “Buddy” Dykes and daughter Brenda Duncan; she is survived by her son Alan Dykes (Diana), daughters Carol Cramp (James), Debbie Hawkins (David), Eileen Fikes, son-in-law Charlie Duncan; Grandchildren, Christy Garcia (Gabe), Amanda Luna (Chris), Justin Johnson, Ashley Adame (Ed), Andrew Johnson (Ann Marie), Shelby Richards (David O’Brien), Hana Marie Fikes; Great grandchildren Alexandria, Jake, Gracie, Maggie, Addie, Dek, Ryan; Great great grandchild Aiden. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Sunset North Funeral Home from 5-9pm with a rosary at 7pm. A mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 14, 2014 at St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church, 4603 St. John’s Way, at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery.
