

A proud graduate of Sidney Lanier High School, Class of 1963, Domingo went on to serve honorably in the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to the United States Postal Service. He was also an active member of VFW Post 1533 and a devoted parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Domingo was preceded in death by his parents, Luisa and Ramon Maldonado; his sister, Angelica; and his brother, Ramon. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Connie Maldonado; daughters, Tanya D. Vela (Joe L. Vela, Jr.) and Dayna E. Robokowski (James Robokowski); grandchildren, Victoria Vela (Junior Garza), Sabreana Teran (Jacob Teran), James Erick Robokowski, Erin M. Robokowski, Jennah L. Vela, and Andrea E. Vela; and great-grandchildren, Noah Garza, Mila Garza, Mateo Teran, Miguel Teran, and Lily Garza. He is also survived by his siblings, Irene, Louis, and Maria, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Rosary at 2:00 p.m.
Domingo will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was guided by faith, family, and service. His kindness, dedication, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
