To the Falcon Family;
Our deepest condolences for your loss.
We came to know Lefty, through Baseball back in High School days and Young Adults. My Dad, as a coach and manager, recruited many High School Baseball players through the years to Local San Antonio Baseball Leagues. But my fondest memories is when Lefty and the love of my life, "Hondo" during their teens years worked together at Jim's. This is how I met the love of my life. They both played baseball through the years. We lost communication throughout the years with many cross road journeys in our path, but we always ran into each other through events, gathering and or passing by. At times, he would quote, to us, "Still Together". lol!! to the End. Donald, stood as a great person with respect, integrity and kindness. Lefty is now joined with my love of my life and I'm sure they are catching up with so much. I pray for each of you to find comfort and peace with the grace of God.

Sincere condolences, lefty and I played for Garza Finance in the Spanish American Baseball League .  Lefty is on the first row first left to right, very fitting.  Sure he made that great line up in the heavens as a starter.  Joe Sanchez

I knew him for about 45 yrs and loss contact with him.  Great friend and fellow in blue. My deepest condolences to his family.

I knew Donald back when we played  baseball  as 16 years old and throughout the following years.  His friendliness toward people that he met or knew will always be remembered.  My sincere condolences to his wife and family and God Bless.

​I was heartbroken to hear of Don's passing and wanted to extend my deepest condolences to you all. Don was more than just a friend; he was a mentor and a pillar of strength, both in my life and in our community.
​He was a great man of God, and his faith was a source of inspiration to everyone who knew him. I will always cherish the time we spent together, whether we were on the job at the Sheriff's Office or enjoying our shared passions. I'll never forget our time on the baseball diamond or the friendly rivalry at the bowling alley. Those moments of camaraderie and laughter are some of my fondest memories.
​Don's kindness, wisdom, and humor left a lasting impression on so many people. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched.

My dear brother-in-arms, my heart saddens to hear that we and this world has lost a great man.  But I rejoice knowing that GOD has recruited a great fighter for his battles against evil.  I know that your spirit and soul will console your family and those who love you.  It was a blessing being your friend while attending Edgewood High school. As an officer and detective with SAPD, it was a great pleasure working cases with you. We had some great times in catching the bad guys. Thanks for the memories and your friendship.  Until we meet up again my brother, your friend “Ram”.

Don, I was saddened by your passing last week. Looking back at the good times we had in high school, Choir, Student Council, Baseball games. Our Senior year was a blast. Proms, Military Ball, Canteens etc. We lost track for a time as we pursued our own careers, but reconnected again on facebook.  We will meet again my friend, in Paradise.

My deepest condolence to the Falcon family....Donald was my good friend that I knew many years at the Bexar County Sheriff's Department....most of Donald's friends called him Lefty....I always called him The Maltese Falcon....we spent many good times in training and at work....Donald, I will miss you my dear friend, but, I know that you have returned to Our Lord and Savior....You are Home....We Will Meet Again my Christian Brother....GOD BLESS You Maltese Falcon....Adios

So very sorry to hear about Lefty’s passing. He was a good friend to myself and my wife Catherine. He will be sorely missed. Sending prayers to Elsa and all those who knew him.

Elsa, my sincere sympathy on the loss of your husband. Though I did not know him personally, I enjoyed his Facebook posts of his faith, family and love to God. I always looked forward to them.  You are in my thoughts and prayers along with his family and friends.
