Donald Ray Hawkins was born on July 1, 1952 in San Antonio, TX and passed away on April 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Arty A. Hawkins; infant sister, Carolyn Jean; grandparents, M.E. “Bob” and Ola Price Hawkins, Albert “Pete” & Dorothy Carver Bulgerin. Donald is survived by his loving family; mother, Betty Bulgerin Hawkins; sons, Matthew David & Chris Hill; their mother, Annette Hawkins; sister, Darlene Mair (Joe); brothers, Arty “Chip”, David (Tina), Jesse (Laurie); uncles & aunts, Wayne Bulgerin (Bette), Norma Willoughby (Jerry), Dorothy Mills (Jesse); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2011 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
