Donald E. Sanders

Donald E. Sanders passed away on October 24th, 2012 at the age of 77. Don was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 11, 1935 to Thomas and Gladys Sanders. In 1953 he entered the Air Force and retired after 24 years of service. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joy Davis. He was survived by ex-wife of 38 years, Elizabeth Sanders; son, Darryl Sanders; stepdaughter, Shawn Smith and her husband, Dennis; grandchildren, Avery and Adrienne Smith; sister, Kathy Hoover; and brother, Jerry Sanders. Don enjoyed playing golf and watching sports. Don will be remembered as a self-motivated, independent, hard working successful businessman. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Porter Loring on McCullough.
