Donald G. Arnold Cpo US Navy

He retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Chief Petty Officer and served during the Korean and Vietnam War and many other conflicts. After his retirement he worked as a Game Warden in South Carolina for the Department of National Resources for 20+ years. He then retired to San Antonio after working and enjoyed SMART R.V. Club.

He was a loving husband, and a great father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by, his parents and sister, Maxine M. Schneider.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Grace Frazar Arnold; sons, Shawn L. Arnold (Lisa), Wayne G. Arnold (James S. Wise, Jr.), Walter Allison and Jon Harris (Shannon); daughter Melanie Sills (Bob); grandchildren Justin, Katelyn, Dylan (Rocco) and numerous special grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.
