

Donna Joy Power, age 76, of San Antonio, Texas, walked gently into the arms of her lord early on the morning of Monday, December 1, 2025, in San Antonio. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on January 1, 1949, to her parents, Louis Beyer and Erna Beyer.
Donna was a woman of deep faith whose life was marked by hard work, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She consistently placed the needs of others before her own and did everything she could to care for and support those she loved.
An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Donna cherished game days, which became treasured moments of togetherness for family and friends. She was known for her determined spirit and strong will, facing life’s challenges, including health struggles, with remarkable courage and grace.
Donna will be remembered for her loving heart, resilient nature, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. Her passing leaves a great loss, yet her family rejoices, knowing she was faithfully welcomed into Heaven.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 53 years, Michael Wayne Power; her brothers, Perry Beyer Sr. and Glen Beyer, and Glen’s wife, Kathy; her sister, Jo Ferguson, and her husband, Kenneth.
She is survived by her children: Julie Carter and her husband, Mark; Shaun Power and his wife, Lauren; and Brandon Power and his wife, Erica; as well as her five cherished grandchildren: Madison Carter, Mark Carter, Matthew Carter, Landon Power, Jackson Power and Sister-in-law Patricia Beyer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78209.
