Donna Lee West married James Ward Jim in 1951.
She retired from J.P. Hart Lumber Company in 1984 after working there 24 years.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Clay R. and Mildred West; and her youngest brother, Clayton West.
Donna is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jim Ward; daughter, Leann Ward; daughter, Karen Fox and husband Mark; and grandchildren, Joshua, Jori and James. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law; Leon and Kathy West; and sister-in-law, Janice West, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family gives a very special thanks to Donna's dear friend and caregiver, Betty Orr, and her daughter, Ina Orr, without whom we could not have it done it at home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Donna's honor to Heartland Hospice, 5430 Fredericksburg Rd., Ste 510, San Antonio, TX 78229.
