

Dora Zoraida (Rodriguez) Due, died on 30 October, 2013, she was surrounded by her loving family members.
Dora was born to Major Daniel Rodriguez and his lovely wife, Zoraida on 12 March 1916 at the military hospital on Fort Henry Barracks, Cayey, Puerto Rico. During her early childhood she moved from Army post to Army post with her parents and siblings.
In 1934 while stationed at Vancouver Barracks, Washington she met and fell in love with Lt. William Field Due. They were married on 2 April 1934 and began a long and happy union that lasted until 29 June 1978 when Colonel Due passed away.
She is survived by children, Dr. Dora Logue, Mrs. Dixie D. Smith (Brigadier General Thomas G.), Captain William F. Due Jr. a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1964 (Sandra), Mrs. Dana Telenko (Colonel George J.) Zaida Denise Forester, PhD (Dr. David). Dora loved the Army and kept abreast of her many friends throughout the world. Her greatest single joy was the pride and love she felt for the 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren, which she always held close to her heart.
Dora was preceded in death by her three sons, Richard, Roderick, and John.
Visitation will be On Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
