Doris Brunner

Doris Brunner, age 88, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. She was a former resident of Sun City, TX. Doris was born on May 22 1933 in Brooklyn NY to parents Lila (Ida) and Thomas Sconzo . Doris worked in banking. She retired in the early 90s and traveled much of the world. She volunteered with the USO in Seattle and was an honorary officer. Hosting little get-togethers, she enjoyed playing canasta and dominos with her friends. Always a priority, was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Brunner, parents Thomas and Lila Sconzo, sister Rita Westphal, brothers Tom and Robert Sconzo. Doris is survived by her daughter, Lisa (John) Miller; son Mark (Conny) Brunner, grandchildren Kristen, (Nikolas) Hartung, Keith (Lauren) Cranley, Katy Miller, Andrew Miller, Christopher (Sheena) Brunner, Thea Brunner, Matthew, Brunner, David (Rachel) Brunner and Bill Rolon and his family, great grandchildren, Jameson, Layla, Bradley and Amira.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Animal shelter of your choice, Shriners Hospital, or any veterans organization.
