Doris was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was a volunteer at Santa Rosa Hospital for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter M. Garcia.
Survivors: daughter, Melinda Garcia Saenz and her husband Gilberto of San Antonio; son, Dr. Peter Madrid Garcia, Jr. and his wife Alice of Austin, TX; granddaughters Alyssa, Elena, Lauren and Averi Garcia; step-grandchildren, Rebecca Toedt and her husband, David and Michael G. Saenz and his wife Leslie; in laws Edward G. Skeeters of Dallas, TX, Mary and Rudy Rendon, Rose and Tony Rodriguez of San Antonio and Mike Garcia of Austin, TX.
