Doris Amelia Garibaldi

Born in Piedmont, South Carolina, Doris was one of 14 children born to the late Fred Benjamin and Flora Mae Hooper Fowler.

She was a homemaker and loved to cook, read, sew and was a longtime member of Churchill Baptist Church.

Doris is survived by her husband of over sixty-one years, Raul Garibaldi; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Sharon Garibaldi; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jeff Davidson and son, Gary Garibaldi all from San Antonio; sisters, Dot Browning and Sandra Anderson of Piedmont, South Carolina; four brothers, Sammy Fowler of Pelzer, South Carolina; Keith Fowler, Troy Fowler and Fred Fowler, Jr. of Piedmont, South Carolina; grandchildren, Nicole White, Julie Mannella, Stephanie Rooks, Matthew Davidson, Brian Garibaldi, Garrett Davidson, Micheas Garibaldi and Dylan Garibaldi and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will follow December 7, 2017 at 9:00 am in the funeral chapel officiated by Pastor Neil Bennett. Burial will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
