Doris Strandtman Linick, age 78, passed away on August 25, 2003.
Her family is so very proud of how courageously she fought illness for the last 15 years.
Doris was born September 29, 1924 in Lockhart, TX.
She met her future husband, Link Linick, during World War II, and they married in San Marcos on May 19, 1945. After raising her sons, she assisted Link in their insurance business until they retired.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Link Linick; son, Terry and wife Sue of Altadena, CA; son, Steve and wife Barbara of San Antonio, TX; grandsons, Jeffrey, Justin, Ryan and Christopher Linick; brother, Lesley Strandtman and wife Lala of Kailua, HI; sister, Mildred League and husband Cliff of Ponca City, OK; and many loving relatives including "The Cousins."
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Erna Strandtman; sister, Adeline Peebles; and brothers, Clinton and E.H. Strandtman.
There will be a private graveside service for the family on Saturday, August 30, followed by an open visitation at her home beginning at 1:00 P.M.
