She was a long-time resident of San Antonio, where she was a member of Woodlawn Methodist Church. Dorothe was born October 3, 1909, in San Antonio, to Henry and Dora Stone.
She graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1928. Dorothe especially enjoyed being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Her greatest joy was her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William Thomas Neill; her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by daughter, Kendall Nowotny and husband, Pat of Waco, Texas; son, Stephen Neill and wife, Susan of Dripping Springs, Texas; grandson, Brian Nowotny and wife, Heidi of Weston, Missouri; granddaughters, Kelli Adams and husband, Mike of Midlothian, Texas, and Jennifer McGrath and husband, Don of Allen, Texas; nine great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jackson, and Bennett Nowotny, Savannah, Luke, and Ella Adams, and Judson, Karleigh, and Kate McGrath.
