Peaches graduated from Jefferson High School, University of Texas in Austin and P and S Columbia Medical School.
She was in private practice for many years and was the founder of Hospice San Antonio and served as its Medical Director for many years.
Peaches was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, the Assembly, San Antonio Country Club, and the Argyle Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Niles Chubb; and her parents, Leo Brewer and Dorothy Swearingen Brewer. Survivors include her cousins, Harry Swearingen, Bill Chumney, Pat Chumney, Robert G. Swearingen, Marcelle Brannen, Jack Petter and Barbara Puttnum; other loving relatives; caregivers, Ernestine and George Dears; and other loving caregivers.
