Dorothy Nell Reeves Denney

She married Wilma Ray Reeves on April 1950, and blessed with two children. Her daughter Elizabeth Anne Reeves predeceased her in August 1957 at ten months old.

Her husband predeceased her December 1978 after 28 years of marriage. She later married Donald Frank Denney on September 1980 and he predeceased her in September 1984.

She was employed as a civil service worker in 1942 and worked at Duncan Field, Brooke Army Hospital, BAMC, and Kelly AFB retiring after thirty three years. She was a member of the San Antonio Genealogical and Historical Society, Albert Sidney Johnston Chapter 2060 UDC, San Antonio Conservation Society Associate, and Alamo Heroes Chapter, DRT.

She is survived by her son, Raymond Byron Reeves; two grandsons, Ben Israel Reeves, USCG, Anthony Ray Reeves of Ringgold, GA; five great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Ruth Reeves and Dustin Wyatt Reeves; Gideon Howle Reeves, Liam Fletcher Reeves, and Boston Evangeline Reeves; sister, Alice Mae Rollinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.
