Dorothy Marie Gray Forrester

She was a long standing member of Trinity Baptist Church and a highly admired soprano soloist in the church choir. She was a special person who through her volunteerism, contributed significantly to every community in which she lived.

She will long be remembered for her outstanding record of involvement in many local organizations and for her dedication to her social work at Family Service Association.

During her husband's military (Army) career, Dorothy was active in the leadership of the Medical Wives Club. In later years, she enjoyed dancing with the Towers Kickers dance group.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph H. Forrester, M.D. and grandson, Grant Royce Forrester.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Ralph H. Forrester, Jr. (Los Alamitos CA); Sally K. Forrester (Greenville, TX); Alice F. Pardue and husband, Ron L. (Royse City, TX); Lucy E. Forrester (San Antonio, TX); Jeffrey E. Forrester and wife, Jane H. (San Antonio, TX); brother, Weldon C. Gray; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two additional great-grandchildren expected in August.

All those lives she touched, will all miss her humor, her generosity of spirit, her love of beauty and her zest for life.
